Barber Sportscar Classic

The inaugural Barber Sportscar Classic will combine several different events over three days for a true sportscar festival!

Here are some of the attractions for sportscar and racing fans:

NASA Southeast Region's "Barber Summer Classic":  The National Auto Sport Assoc. returns to the Barber Motorsports Park for their annual two day race.  On-track action will include the following classes:

• SpecE30, SpecMiata and 944Spec
• American Iron / CMC
• Honda Challenge and GTS Challenge
• Thunder and Lightning Sprint Races
• 2 Hour Endurance

Sports Cars in the Park  (SATURDAY, MAY 30 ONLY):

Organized by the Birmingham British Motor Club, this annual car show visits the Barber Motorsports Park on Saturday, May 30.  Some of the region's finest examples of vintage and historic automobiles will be on display as part of Barber Sports Car Classic.

NOTE:  PRE-REGISTRATION IS OVER.  ALL FURTHER REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE ON-SITE!

Please go to the credentials building the day of the show at Barber Motorsports Park to register your sportscar.  The registration fee will be $30 per car.

Lotus Owners' Gathering "Log 29":  The 2009 national gathering for Lotus owners will take place at the home of one of the largest collection of Lotus sportscars in the world, the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.  A weekend of Lotus-based activities will include:

• Scenic drives
• Driver's Education and Accident Avoidance Clinics
• Concours d' Elegance competition
• Tech Sessions
